Uviwe Secondary School had an excellent pass in Mathematics obtaining 75%, which is an increase of 8,3%, Sakhikamva Secondary School also gained by 2,6% to 70,6%, John Bisseker Secondary School performed much better raising by 11,4% to 70%, Mzomhle Secondary School at 66,7% equally Nyameko Secondary School at 52,8% dropped by the same margin of 28,25% in their performance. Wongalethu Secondary struggled once more from 35% to 27,6% decreasing by 7,4%. The EC STEP group performance in Mathematics decreased by 6,9% to 60,45% performing slightly under the provincial average (62,2%) and national average (69,1%).
John Bisseker Secondary School increased by 12% to 100% quite a strong performance in the subject, Mzomhle Secondary School decreased by 7,1% to land at 84,6%. In the same performance bracket Nyameko Secondary School declined by a massive 18,5% to 81,5%, Uviwe Secondary School too saw a major drop by 16,7% to 70%. Sakhikamva Secondary School too decreased by 8,2% to 47,4%. While Wongalethu Secondary School dropped by a huge margin of 41% to 39% in the subject.
The three gateway subjects supported by MBSA, performance was good as well, John Secondary School again with the greatest improvement of 31% to 87,5%. Nyameko Secondary School, managed to better performance by 7,5% to 80%. Sakhikamva Secondary School did to perform well with a drop of 10,2% to 66,7%. Mzomhle Secondary School improved by 11,2% to 59,5%. Wongalethu Secondary School again dropped in their performance in the subject by a very huge difference from 74,1% to 42,9%.
